Saving a project (6.5)To retain all changes to an After Effects project, use the Save command frequently as you work. You can also use the Save As or Save A Copy command to save an existing project to a new project file, after entering a new filename and specifying the file's location. After Effects 6.5 lets you save a project to a new project file more quickly with the new Increment And Save command. The Increment And Save command automatically saves the new project file to the same folder as the original file and automatically names the new file with the original file's name followed by a number. If the project name ends with a number, the new project uses the same name, but the number increases by one. To automatically save a copy of an open project: Choose File > Increment And Save. |
