Arranging palettes

You can rearrange your palettes to make better use of your workspace by using the following techniques:

To display a palette at the front of its group, click the palette's tab.
To move a palette, palette group, or group of docked palettes, drag its title bar.
To rearrange or separate a palette group, drag a palette's tab. Dragging a palette outside an existing group creates a new palette window.
To move a palette to a group, drag the palette's tab to that group and release when a gray highlight frames the frontmost palette in the group.
To vertically dock a palette to another palette or palette group, drag the palette's tab to the bottom of the palette or group and release when a horizontal gray line appears at the bottom of the palette or palette group destination.
